Saw somebody on TV a few weeks back saying she was diagnosed with ADHD at 35. She used to wonder how things seemed different to her growing up. Different from what though she wasn't able to say because she'd only grown up the once and had nothing to compare the experience with.

When our kids were young and had any behavioural issues we managed them, taught them how to behave, they started behaving and they grew into decent adults. Now they pump them full of drugs as soon as they do or say anything the parents don't like and turn them into zombies while telling the parents 'wee Johnny should behave much better now'.

Several years ago I was told by a teacher that children having ADHD and being autistic was an excuse made by middle class parents for their children not being clever.

When our kids were young and had any behavioural issues we managed them, taught them how to behave, they started behaving and they grew into decent adults. Now they pump them full of drugs as soon as they do or say anything the parents don't like and turn them into zombies while telling the parents 'wee Johnny should behave much better now'.

When I was at school anyone who misbehaved in class got the belt.
Now the belt has been banned and parents are no longer allowed to smack their children when they misbehave because they do not understand the meaning of the word ‘No’.
Now the ‘so called experts’ are happy to let these out of control children become zombies and they are storing up problems for the next generation of kids.

Always found it strange why autism and other neurological conditions garner little sympathy but all in compassing mental illness, junkism or I think I'm a cat does. 🙄

When you think you could have children in a class born in January and also in December, it’s a big difference in maturity at a young age.
