A doctor can advise, but that's a different thing. In these cases the doctors are always going to err on the side of extreme caution. There is no way they can make a clear diagnosis on the pitch. Imagine if this was a world cup final. You've worked your entire life to get to this point, then a fanny doctor and fanny rules kill your dreams after 10 minutes because you banged your head. Even though you feel fine and want to play. Timewasting was the gamemanship in this case. He stood in front of the ball. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy of a rule that books players for stuff like that, but yet it's fine for VAR to take an age and disrupt the game.

Don't discount for a second the possibility that this rule was introduced with us in mind. From clubs lobbying against the takeover to the meeting we weren't invited to to see if there was anything they could do about it, they're trying to either thwart us or slow us down at every turn.

Has anyone heard of a reason why this rule about only one person in the technical area being allowed being introduced?
Where was it where that ‘supporter’ approached Eddie unopposed last season? There’ll have been new rules put in place this season to prevent that ever happening again…..surely?…..,,
