Ahmad has pulled another one out of the bag.

John McAtee,24, (not to be confused with his brother, the Man City/ Sheff U loan player) is described as a "Luton Town player" but hasn't actually played a game for them. He is described on the Official Website as "having had a successful summer with the Hatters as they prepared for the Premiership" That is some spin even for our media lads/ lasses. You couldn't make it up.
The article doesn't actually go into detail about whether he is a striker or attacking midfielder but he seems to be touted as a striker. He has not been a prolific scorer at Halesowen, Telford, Ashton Utd, Curzon Ashton, S****horpe and last season at Grimsby (4 goals in 32 appearances) but he could be ready to take the Third Division by storm under Collin's guidance. Cannot make a judgement yet on performance, only on stats.

It may be that Ahmad failed to get the £million swoop over the line with Norbe for the moment but this loan player may be the answer, and would be a less costly alternative.
