Final ball at times was poor , especially first half , defended well , albeit it wasn’t often they got forward , Gallagher strolled the game yesterday

Don't know if there was a gentleman's agreement with Murray, but it seemed a crazy decision, rather than just wait until the end of the season and know exactly what division the teams were in, and akin to us letting Armstrong/GMS leave on the eve of a cup final. From Murray's perspective, was penalties away from returning to championship, could have gone up with Queens, sliding doors moment for Ross County/Queens Park/Partick Thistle.

Maybe it will take a full quarter to get a better idea of the challengers will be, Raith maybe? Who knows, Queens have played arbroath twice, hopefully league will be as weak as it was the past two seasons, when Dundee and Killie got up despite being rubbish.

If we go up it won't be with the average records of the previous two winners, the fun had only 14 pts after ten games

It's not as weak either as for me Dunfy and Airdrie are improvements on what they replaced

I think it'll be the likes of QP, Thistle and Raith will be the main threats but early days, Arbroath winning comfortable at Morton shows that

Ayr had won 3/3 at home without conceding before yesterday, albeit two in the via play against Alloa and Stenny and a narrow win over Inverness

The telling factor for me at this point isn't the W, D, L column. It's the goal difference one. Scored eight (the most in the league), conceded one (the least in the league). That's league winning form. The rest of the league are already conceding for fun.

Early days. Must keep the foot down tho' - and hope we can escape any long term injuries to our first team squad.

    😉🙊

I quite enjoy them, this one and think it was Carlisle

Don't get the TW stick, nothing to suggest he hasn't been professional since his return

The stick is due to his attitude last season. Well documented on here numerous times. He knows fine well he was out of line last season as well. Nothing to suggest anything untoward this season, in fact, I've been told he came back to pre-season a reformed character, however his performances so far have been poor. He's looked lethargic, is forever diving about, and so far, hasn't last beyond 76 minutes in 8 games. That not good enough for someone earning the salary that he earns.

Shedka loves an average player though. No doubting that.
