Greenwood leaves Man Utd by mutual consent

I stand corrected. Spanish side Getafe FC sign Greenwood. The confusing factor is, last week it said he left Man Utd by mutual consent but, it now says he's joined Getafe on a season long loan from Man Utd. Does that mean Man Utd have retained his services? If so that's disgusting and they have back tracked on their word.
