It may have been a hard watch at times, but it was good to see Airdrie having a go and us dealing with it. We did drop back way too far for my liking, but that dragged them too far forward and we sucker punched them.

I would though like to give a special mention to the best RB on the park in Cammy Ballantyne. Think he should be used as an example for Freeman to show what happens if you dont pull the finger oot!

    Totally agree.

Glass Gallagher and Holt were crucial and Grimshaw is good at RB or CM

that’s over a year now since Middleton played well for 90 mins

While i like Middleton, im not even sure that he has ever had a good full 90 minutes for us? Maybe some good stuff here and there and a superb European goal, but not enough often enough.

Think when Docherty, Sibbald and Fotheringham are fully fit again, Watt, Freeman and Middleton should be dropped.

What do you like about Middleton? I really do wish the guy well, and i really want him to succeed but I think even he is realising that he isnt cut out for any decent level of football. I see no desire from him to improve, i see an overweight slow player with such limited ability, he should be working overtime on himself but i just dont see it. Never hear or see him talking him on the pitch either. He aint no left winger thats for sure.

I dont know what the answer is for him and Freeman but I think both of their time on the pitch should be limited until we see enormous improvement from them in all aspects.

That was woeful again but adequate in this league. other sides will watch it and find how to beat us.

Watt, Middleton, Freeman and Cudjoe (even with the goal) Were a total let down today and have been all season this far. The wee guy does one or two nice wee runs and even geting man of the match but actually doesnt contribute much.

Middleton should declare himself injured and go get lighter and a heart along with Mr Watt. Freeman just no idea. he needs something that the gaffer is paid to identify.

The big boy Grimshaw looks very like Gary Kenneth from the TV and makes the same brain farts, but hopefully he grows.

JG additions basically played and won the game.

Just when I was thinking DUTV was stepping up a level it loses the camera and wanders all over the place.

Wasn't bothered by the drum in the slightest. It certainly wasn't as loud as some you hear, and it helped create a great atmosphere.

I wasn't bothered either and the atmosphere was definitely better. Weirdly, these things seem louder the father you are away from them. 🤔

Cudjoe contributes with goals and assists, that's enough I'd think? He also tries to make things happen, doesn't always come off but he at least tries. He's only going to get better in my opinion but won't always shine.

Had to laugh at the Airdrie manager’s comments that they had “dominated” the game though.

United hit the woodwork 3 times. Had any of those gone in, we’d have played that one out for quite an easy win.

Baffling comments from him after the game.
