Musk is certainly a very strange fish and a divisive character. His support of Ukraine has varied over the duration of the war with access to the Starlink system but personally cannot see him deliberately sabotaging them.

I’ve just read another article; he alleges that he did not disable the Starlink system because he never enabled it in the first place! You just can’t sit on the fence when dealing with a murderer like Putin.

Apparently he was happy to allow Ukraine access to existing Starlink coverage but the system was not enabled over Crimean region in the first place. Musk -the major shareholder in the system-claims he refused to enable it in this area over fears that attacks on Russian shipping could lead to a major escalation of the war.

It might be remembered that the US and many NATO allies have also balked at supplying Ukraine with particular weapons-especially aircraft-for fear of further provoking Putin who had been doing a lot of sabre rattling with threats around using nuclear weapons in retaliation to such Western aid.

Maybe Musk is telling the truth then, although as the war drags on the response of NATO has changed too and has hardened in terms of the military kit it is prepared to supply.

I don’t think Musk can win in this situation.

Why should we care about Hitler 2’s threats? The best way to tackle a bully is full on! If an old f art wants to destroy the world and press the button he will!

Eye for an eye!! Every bomb that is aimed at innocent civilians should be met with a bomb in the opposite direction!

I hate weakness and if it means the end of the world so be it! Will the press the button though? Not likely as if he does USA nuclear warheads will be on the way so Russia would be destroyed too!

Bullies at school? Always told my lad to face anyone and punch their lights out. Best way!

To clarify on the Starlink issue: the Ukrainians THOUGHT coverage was enabled all the way to Crimea, but it was not. They asked Musk to enable it for their drone sub attack on the Russian fleet. Musk did not enable it, because he thought, probably correctly, that would cause a dangerous escalation.
