Is it his fault or other players not making themselves available ? Surely he can’t be that bad at throw ins ALL the time ?

I said to my mate against Accrington that I don’t think I’d have Ruben back at the expense of Crowley.
    I certainly wouldn’t now.

Last season you could get away with it, this season you can't. Right from the start I've said that these many pointless yellows we have picked up by ignoring the guidance will eventually turn to red if we commit a 'proper' foul. Sort it out Luke, you are usually one step ahead rather than one step behind. Luckily it had no bearing on the result tonight, but it will have one day.

Rant over, that was a comprehensive win. Great to see us dominate possession away from home as much as we did in the NL, we are making teams play our way rather than their way.
Think the mistake LW made was not taking Nemane off when we went 2 up and moving Austin over the the right as at 2.0 we didn’t need to attack as much and Austin is a better defender.
AN has a problem with throw ins almost like the yips the coaching staff need to work with him

I’d say it’s his fault personally. He often has a quick option on but he hesitates and it’s too late. He’s then waiting on players to create a yard of space.

I would genuinely be intrigued to see the time the ball goes out to the point Nemane gets his yellow and compare that to Tozer. Tozer has to jog to position, dry the ball, wait for players to get in position before launching a rocket.
Tozer has yet to be booked this season BTW

It's indecision. LW has to get the players to say 'yes' within a few seconds and AN by rule has to throw it to the first that says it.

Maybe, but last season he (mostly) got away with being Nemane. This season he won't.

As a Forest fan once said, it's not rocket surgery.

Away with work as usual, but streamed the game from the Notts website. No complaints from me. We looked great. Salford had their moments and could have equalised at 1-0, but they didn't. Its not like we can expect 100% possession from us with 0 chances created from the other team, (although, sometimes, I think that is what LW aims for!) especially away from home.

Luke's tenure has rebuilt this club's identity and I enjoy every minute of it and have done since we started to click in the NL.

Everyone knows it, but these are special times and we have been starved of these times for years.

    Long may it continue

    Luke certainly uses 'The Force'.

Enjoy it whilst you can folks!! Good night x

All credit to us, but anyone else think NL teams had more personality than these very forgettable L2 teams?

I can hardly recall a player from Donny, Accy, Tranmere, Morecambe, Salford, even MK they all seem clone-like and instantly forgetable.
It'll be a long while before I forget those aggressive, lanky bar-stewards from Sutton. But where are they now?
