Funny thing is, Newcastle could benefit from this takeover more than Everton.

Man City have a multi club model but all clubs are ran independently of each other.

their clubs at inflated prices to get around FFP.

This will open the floodgates for Newcastle to offload all of their surplus players to Saudi for huge fee's.

If Everton get a fine for FFP, this will set the benchmark for FFP and open the floodgates for Newcastle to spend.



The worrying thing for Everton and funny thing for everyone else, is how like Mike Ashley they run their clubs.

They can’t though, this is exactly the same ‘fair market value’ scenario that an EPL rule was brought in to cover a couple years ago on the back of the Watford/Udinese transfers.

Also, there is no way that FFP investigations can be dropped, it’s into Everton football club as an entity, not the owners.

Their claim of losses where there match day losses were far exceeding even the likes of Arsenal makes it obvious they are guilty, and that’s just at the surface level… they’re best striker is injured more that Andy Carroll and they’ve already had to sell off some of their better players already.

I actually think that rather than us being able to benefit off the back of their potential transfers, that the league will have to seriously punish them or WE WILL go out and spend a large amount, come up with a ridiculous defense and point to Everton if they try to do anything other than fine us… so I think they are f**ked because the EPL will make an example of them to stop us from splashing the cash

The sours have been acquired by a group that will asset strip the club, turn it into a Sports Direct type football club and wait a few years until their new stadium is built and look to sell on for a profit.

Inshallah, they get relegated and the lack of investment from the new owners means they stay down for many many years. Give them a taste of humility & a generous dose of reality.
