Jess Horseley Aims for Double Triumph

Good luck to the JAQ-inspired Barnsley FC Women's Team led by Jess Horseley this afternoon, looking to make it a double triumph for Barnsley FC's two teams this weekend by beating Bradford City.

On Training Pitch, 2-00pm KO. Free entry.

Build up to game and Match Report, as promised, on Official Website, "News", scroll down to "Women's Team News"

Good to read this mornings four sentence "build up" basically saying the match is taking place.

Where are the player interviews, Head Coach interviews, team selection news, game prospects, pre match facilities/ entertainment etc ?

No doubt they will appear soon.

Can you explain about the two teams. Are they both part of Barnsley FC and which leagues do they play in? Thanks

I haven't the IT skills to do links but if you go onto the Official Website, click on "News", click on "Women's Team News", follow News Archive to "Barnsley Launch Womens Team" 18th May 2023. It explains how Barnsley Ladies was rebranded as Barnsley FC and integrated within the club.
They play in the Premier Division of the NE Regional League

    Much better from BFC

A Match Report on Barnsley FC's 3-1 victory over Bradford.

Equal coverage is emerging. I can now rest from my misgivings safe in the knowledge that BFC Media will not let the Women down again in terms of coverage, game after game this season.

Well done Jesse and her Women

A wonder if the recruitment for the ladies team is done via the spreadsheet? Of course the ladies were way ahead of their time in terms of wearing Statsport vests under their football shirts. Took the men years to cotton on

PC ALERT ! The above post and the comment below seek to introduce an element of humour into the football equality debate and should not be used in any other context by social media influencers

James and his Men's Spreadsheet Team will be discussing important matters such as politics and economics over a glass of port and a cigar whilst identifying players to recruit, whilst the Women's Spreadsheet Team go to a separate room so as not to fill their pretty, little heads with such things and can chat about things like flower arranging, embroidery and ironing.

Jooa Richards will be turning in his grave. Women weren't even allowed in boardroom back in his day, a rule that was continued up until the East Stand was built in 1993.

Sorry SB my question wasn't very clear. I read recently there are two women's teams in Barnsley but only one of them part of BFC. Who are the other team and what league do they play in.
