    Eulogy…..

Or “Eurology” as my wife keeps calling it!🤔🫣

I have to do it at my father in laws funeral tomorrow, I always seem to get this job now.

Bloody hard to hold yourself together doing one of these, I usually end up faltering by the last paragraph.

Read the eulogy at my mom's funeral. Fair to say it was tough keeping it together but I got through it without a blub, stutter or missed word. RIP mom. X.

I felt it was a bit harsh to be given a 4 minute time limit, there’s no way I’ll complete what I have to say in less than 5 minutes if anyone in authority is clock watching.

It won’t last the 37 minutes I used up at my eldest daughter’s wedding though! 😏

All these eulogies and nicey nicey are not for me. If you didn’t get on with a person or didn’t see eye to eye then bit of a p iss taste to say nice things and scoff sarnies.

Best to sing a few hymns and after the person goes in the burner it should remain close family.

The person who is in the box wouldn’t give two f ucks for all these tears and scoffing,

If I had a wish it would be to wake up and throw out all the f uckers who didn’t mean anything to me.

Waiting for an inheritance to come through for somebody in the family I didn’t know. Giving it all away as in my book it would be hypocritical to keep it.

Had to do one yesterday, for a mate who died in a boating accident. Very emotional, but not many can get up and do this, which is why you were asked. Don't overthink it is my advise, but just remember him from your point of view. Good luck.

    Thanks Titch.

Me and the old boy didn’t always see eye to eye but there was mutual respect on both sides I believe.

I’m not doing this for me, I’m going it for my wife and her sister who want me to do it.

He was a tight fisted old b u g g e r and I’ll be mentioning that, most of my 5 minutes is taken up with humorous moments rather than pious stuff.
