    All that ability and just a mismatch for him vs Citeh’s playing style.

    Set for life financially but as useful to Citeh as costa is to us

    Not sure it is a mismatch it’s just Rodri must be in the top 10 players in the world and is a pillar of that side - never going to get in the side ahead of him unless he grows 5 inches and becomes a few yards quicker.

    He should have gone to Liverpool or Arsenal if he wanted regular first team football but suspect he thought that Pep would take him under his wing just as Bielsa did. It was almost that City didn’t want him to go to Liverpool as much as then wanting him.

    Slightly naive on his part - that said he is now a premier league winner and champions league winner and is sitting on what should be a nice bank balance.

    Good luck to him wherever he ends up or whatever he does - he always put in a shift for us.
