If they buy back dens at the reported 750k would there be much profit in selling the land?I have no clue to be honest.
Regarding moving to a new stadium you will always get those against and those for our support is no different.
What we do need though is a stadium that has proper facilities and is not falling down.

You're right and the stadium we need that's fit for purpose, with proper facilities and isn't falling down, should be Dens Park. Something Nelms and Keyes will never get is that it's a huge part of the club's identity.

They never did their homework prior to purchasing a majority shareholding in Dundee Football Club Limited.
At the time they stated that FPS purchased a majority shareholding because Dundee Football Club was ‘debt free’.
A quick search on the internet would have easily revealed why.
Dundee Football Club Limited had exited Administration in May 2011 shorn of all their debts apart from football debt’ and the outstanding cost of the Administrators fees which at the Dee4life AGM in the Taxi Club in December 2011 the members present were advised that it was being repaid at a monthly cost of £11,500.
From memory the outstanding sum in December 2011 was around £312,000.

As usual the Courier have not done their homework prior to publishing this article.
They should have asked John Nelms and Tim Keyes why Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited borrowed money from the Isle of Man based financial company SohoGreen putting up the whole of the 29.7 acres new stadium development at the former NCR Camperdown grounds as collateral for their loan.
Tim Keyes and John Nelms are directors of Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited and the details of the Charges against the 29.7 acres former NCR Camperdown grounds site now owned by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited are listed on the Companies House website.

I do not understand why FPS would buy back Dens Park for a reported £750k unless it was to end the lease.
The Dens Park site would probably be used to build low cost social housing once the stands etc were removed. FPS buying back Dens Park and then selling it to a third party is not going to make much of a profit.
In my opinion Sandeman Properties Limited would be better sitting tight until the end of the lease where they are reported to receive over £1 million in rental payments from Dundee Football Club Ltd who are also responsible for any repairs and improvements to the Dens Park stadium.
