But i would say if Notts rise up the divisions, and the home support increases where there is demand for more Notts tickets, limit oppoasition to 10%, different rules may apply for a play off match
It's an interesting question if we did consistently get even higher gates, and then if we did regularly play teams with larger away followings, how would the club manage this in the longer term

It's crazy that within just a few years we have gone from dropping into the 5th division, and now we are getting around 10k home fans come through the turnstiles

Good question, as we dont seem to have benefited from it
As i stated in the previus post, we played in the top 2 divisions before it was changed, giving teams most or all of the JS gives them an advantage in my opinion

I go even further and say it had nothing to do with no atmosphere and playing bad because away fans were in the kop, it was because we had poor owners, and a merry go round of managers

An all safe standing Sirrel stand for home fans would probably be a greater advantage to Notts than having the Kop.

What about an all standing Kop?

I’ve always felt the acoustics of our ground meant the sound from the Kop carries better than any other stand. It used to pee me off when teams would come with 400-500 in the Kop and it seemed like there was 10x that.

An all seater Kop would be even better, but I don't think they'd be allowed to do it on health and safety rules - Which is silly, because it would be a lot safer than it is now, currently no barriers where you can just fall straight forward over a bunch of seats, but I think the gradient of that stand would rule standing out.

Doesn't it depend on the gradient of the stand in question? JS has a lower gradient than Kop.

Giving the away fans the Kop was a disaster. The best thing the Trust and John Armstrong Jones did was getting the home fans into it. It used to be terrible when the away team scored and the Kop went up, it just killed us.
