The injury situation has to be simply down to the fact that the squad as a whole has to over compete physically to attempt to match the opposition who, more often than not,are better players. For reference, the last time we were in League 1,we hardly had any injuries.
I don't think our players over compete physically at all, Rathbone puts a shift in but who else does? They don't look fit at all even the manager has said that the players are fatigued before the end of a game. Fergie and Lindsay were both injured at the start of the season, Fergie is at the backend of his career, has had long injuries last season as well and this one there was no idea what it was and he had to go to a specialist in germany, we could have left him out of the 25 knowng if he gets fit he could come in again in January, that is another place wasted. Sending McCart out on loan and Kioso were insane decisions, not saying they are first choice but in a 25 man squad they provided cover especially when we had 3 CBs out at tha time. Don' play the hindsight card as many people said the decisions were poor when they were made. The recruitment and squad selection decisions sit at MTs door, he got it wrong and unless the injured players come back quickly and turn our season around it will cost him. We need three or fours games unbeaten with a couple of wins to build believe and confidence, players won't rush back to play in a losing team at the bottom end of the league.

I see him trying to play differently on the front foot but not just hoofing it. It works to some degree at home but away it hasn’t.
We’ve struggled under most managers away from home at this level it’s no surprise.
I agree with you about his ppg over his time here we’ve had some good performances and tactically he’s better than previously.
At the moment though we look lost away from home and that can’t continue.
He kept us up last year this season we’re struggling so far.
It’s too early to pull the plug imo the last manager had far too much loyalty he needs more time but as already stated he’s making stupid comments.
I think the next 5 games are critical for MT still think the football at home is far better than hoofball and no plan B. Away for must improve.
    Today our first 3 touches of the ball were;
1 - kick off, ball played back to ?
2 - ball played forward, high and long
3 - the long ball came back, so we repeat.

2 and 3 set the tone for a lot of the first half.

Just watched brief highlights both their goals showed lack of height at the back. Arvin looks worth a start.

5 points from 9 simply isn't good enough.

Another away game where players are clearly told not to break lines or go through thirds.

We are static, easy to play against and easy to score against.

We didn't lay a finger nay mind a glove on Cardiff who are the worst team I've seen this season. Unfortunately we're just worse in everything we do.

Even Exeter fans wouldn't take MT back I know I've asked them!

The board won't take much more of this, they will say they've backed MT at a level not seen since Steve Evans and it's taken us precisely backwards.

We're going to lose most away from home so why not just effing go for it?

This no risk tentative approach away from home is actually worse than what Warney tried.

Remember that season we went down and broke all sorts of records? We're on the same ball park.

Sorry MT I truly wanted you to succeed. But you don't understand the DNA of this club and what we're about and how far we can actually go.

Some blame must go to Tony Stewart shouldn't have gambled in the first place, because that's what he did gambled. If Tony was serious about our Championship ambitions he'd have got an unemployed Chris Wilder in

Game plan did appear a to be a lot better structured than the last two away games. Boring as all hell to watch and really had nil nil draw written all over it.
We had 5 at the back and swamped the midfield, this limited Cardiff to balls over the top. We never made an attempt to push forward, leaving Hughil on a hiding to nothing. I'd guess with Cam and Hall alongside Blackett this this could be a good tactic to mix in when playing away.

So yeah like MTs post match comments I can see some positive in the performance.

Sooner we get Hall, Peltier and Cafu back on the pitch the better.

There’s a good chance both swfc and qpr will continue to struggle so over the next few months we just need some improvement in results and overhaul one other team
Points deductions for one or two clubs after Xmas will help
Spend some more of Tony,s money in January,s transfer window

Just looked at MTs post match comments this guy is absolutely clueless basically saying because it’s took an hour for us to concede it’s our best performance, echoes of the early reign of Warne basically defend all well and good but we can’t because of MTs decision to recruit sick note centre backs! He’s banking on Hall Morrison to come over the hill like some sort of cavalry but how long will Hall last till next time he limps off! Groundhog Day Words fail me if we had a back 2/3 then yes defend for 90 minutes and get an away point on the board☹️

We will be cut adrift by then flour.
For MT to say we played well for an hour is a joke.
The travelling faithful didn’t think so.
We’re not idiots we can see what’s happening on the pitch.
    Desperation springs to mind.
If something drastic doesn’t change we will be adrift soon.
