Imagine where Georgie would be on those stats if he got enough minutes - but that would mean that he weren't playing for a manager who is obsessed with donkeys and Jackie Pallo
Possibly, but the main one he isn't better than Hugill at is staying fit. Which is why we are unlikely to ever seeing the other aspects of his game proven whilst at Rotherham.

Yes I wish sometimes that Johansson would throw or pass the ball (when it’s possible) but I understand what he’s trying to do or told what to do.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. We need a new goalkeeper

When this guy was brought in weren’t we promised a more “footballing” style these stats suggest otherwise also I don’t know if the likes of Cafu and Clucas would have signed if they knew the ball was going to be sailing above their heads our midfield apart from Viktor is the strongest part of our team but we miss it out more often than not the football we have played has got us the meagre points to date the long ball up to Hugill hasn’t

Why do none of our players ever get into a position where Viktor can throw the ball to them and we can build an attack from there?
because they are instructed to play the way they do. Not saying you, but some on here think the players go out and do what they want, but that isn't the case they follow the instructions given and those instructions are constantly restated during the game. We hoof the ball up the field as our plan A. Hugill is annoying because he spends too much time fighting the man, moaning at the refs that ignore him and are clearly irrated by his moaning or on the floor. I don't buy into this he has no support, we played Green up their with him at the cardif game. What we don't play is a striker that runs behind him and anticipates the flick-on. At the moment I am not a fan but he might deliver enough to change my mind.

No it doesn’t show that we play hoofball we play because we don’t apart from when we’re losing/panicking and trying to get it up front like at Cardiff

    Watch the whole games back
Careful MT, you'll be getting called a "Happy Clapper".

Good call Lol- like me, you must have spent too many Saturday afternoons watching ITV sports when Rotherham were away!
Actually, Jordi is probably more Mick McManus - do you remember 'not me ears, not me ears'

Agreed Derby but you have to go back to 2019, well over 100 games back, since Hugill last registered an 'assist' - I don't know for sure but I imagine QPR, Norwich, Cardiff have all had different set ups and tactics and decent players and none of those seem to have suited Jordan - Green & Kelly looked like a threat in the pre-season games - I know that they were only pre-season but we looked a much more potent attacking force without Hugill in the side

That's a strange one isn't it - I heard Georgie saying that he'd barely missed a single game (football or GAA) before he joined us and now he's found out that he has this calf condition which is hard to manage and can't be treated - that might just be our bad luck or it might be the step up to a higher level of conditioning but whatever it is, the nail in Taylor's coffin for me is bringing the lad on for 2 appearances that total 3 minutes in the last 2 games - it's just appalling man management and if you starve someone of game minutes like that, you're just increasing the chances of them getting injured in the 2 minutes that they're on the field because they're going to be so desperate....

Yes I would like to see Kelly given more game time but atm MT thinks otherwise, tbh I actually thought Kelly might have gone out on
    loan

So the stats are bollox depending which you look at?
This is one of the main reasons that I want MT out now - if MT survives the season, it's likely that Georgie will be out of the door next year and to my mind players like Georgie and Jamie Lindsay (who has also had a rough deal from MT) are potentially more valuable assets for the club than MT - I have a feeling it will end up being one of those 'how could Rotherham let him go?' stories as he bangs in 40 goals in his first season to get Donny (or whoever) promoted
