To concede only one against a side that had scored 26 in their previous 9 matches, will be a massive confidence boost.

Just a comment on Aiden Stone, does anyone think he looks very bulky, and so lacking some athleticism. I thought he should have been able to claim the cross for their goal, maybe wrong though.
I don’t like to pick fault after a fantastic win and not sure he could’ve claimed the cross, but he doesn’t command his area at all. After watching the last 2 games there’s been a few occasions he hasn’t come out and claimed the ball when he should have and I’m not sure he gives his defenders much confidence in him. Can’t fault his shot stopping last night but would really like to see him be a much bigger presence.

Wow the difference between LW and Michael Flynn's post match interviews was stark. LW as ever happy to say how good the opposition were, and their guy seemingly having to have a knife held to his back to grudgingly acknowledge we were a good team, but that was only in the first half apparently. Keeping the division's top scorers to one goal, is not good play lol.

Two home wins away from equalling the all-time winning start to a season at Meadow Lane, 7 set in 1930/31 and equalled in 1960/61. We have to beat Mansfield as well as Newport, then to set a new record of 8 it need a further win against Wrexham. I'm sure we'd all take remaining unbeaten though from that sequence.
1970/71 went the entire season unbeaten at home, 23 matches.

We have always had trouble with Drysdale, seems to dislike us for some reason. Great game though and a well deserved win.

Yeah, for the goal, it was unfortunate that it was Nemane paired up to mark their scorer. They'd made a switch at half time, I felt that TAR should have been bought on earlier. That is no reflection on Nemane, it was just a height imbalance that they were trying to exploit
