I will add though the TV company’s are more interested in tick box exercises than what they actually think they should do. No I have no evidence of this but I would think anyone with common sense could see this.

So, a tv company, a commercial enterprise that depends on creating profits for shareholders from viewers and advertisers, is going against it's own commercial interests by sacking their values presenters because some left wing extremists who cannot be named it highlighted for some reason, but very much exists, are throwing a hissy fit?

Are you sure? Maybe I don't live in the real world but the one I live in would see executives of companies tell a few sandal wearing nut jobs to go **** emselves if it meant their profits would be affected.

However, I think it is fair to say that if there is a wider public backlash against a presenter, and it negatively affected their public profile, and enough people complained to the extent that advertisers started withdrawing, then I think they would most certainly act and sack/cancel said presenter. I know I would. I would want to make money. Probably a bit more boring than your interpretation but for what it's worth I don't think what Keegan said is enough to provoke such outrage.
