Hardly surprising as most passengers don't bother to buy a ticket, something that it's got in common with the trains on the Robin Hood line.

I was on tram last week going to the QMC about 8.15, loads of kids on board. Inspectors got on at Nottingham Station and lots of kids got off.

Plans to extend the tram from Phoenix Park to Eastwood were planned 5 years ago, the route was "santioned" subject to finance being made available from Nottinghamshire County Council.

Hadn't seen this, knew it was studied. HS2
guilt money available now, hope the councillors are onto it although doubt they are that savvy.

They have been ‘on to it’ from the start. Ask the council for the minutes of all the meetings and public consultations to see what’s happened so far.

It would be cheaper to just herd fans on to a number of cattle trucks and roll them up to the Lane, and the travelling experience would be no different.
