If we have any chance of keeping him, then in January we have to be in contention of staying up, if it looks like we are going down then expect TS may cash in. Though can't see him being here next year anyway if he has any ambition on playing for Sweden he needs to playing top flight somewhere.

Someone on the Saints board suggested they should buy him in January. Gist of responses is that he had the game of his life and won’t play like that again. How little they know. Shame we can’t rely on the clubs themselves thinking the same way.

Their GKs positioning was awful but a lob like that could have easily gone over the bar. I'm not getting excited yet. MT has got to stop regurgitating the A License course. He's a clever bloke, a nice bloke and he needs to stop impressing things on a group that can't deal with what he wants. See what we're good at and hit teams with it. We'd rather lose 4-3 than 1-0. MT: the reports of his demise were greatly exaggerated! I had my doubts but yesterday gave us hope. Get Odoffin fit will give us another option at centre back. Arvin starting for Green needs to happen. Points there to be had between now & the January transfer window.

For all those who think we get unfair treatment from officials.
Did we get a bit of luck with the goal? Kelly looked like he might have been offside from Hugill’s flick and although GK didn’t touch the ball his presence/movement made the defender head it back to Hugill.
Anyway. I’m glad it wasn’t given but another one for the conspiracy theorists.

Can’t emphasise how well MT did tactically yesterday as our Manager
He changed the players and formation multiple times to get us something and it worked
Soton were rattled in the last 25 mins and they knew it.

They had fabulous passing and movement and made the game of football look so easy but yesterday they demonstrated a soft underbelly when we took the game to them.

They were surprised that we finally woke up and I can see why they are only mid table
Wouldn’t be surprised if we get another visit there next season.

Green & Fred can't do job they are in the side for. Arvin on right would be more an attacking threat to take pressure off Dext. Seb on left would cover back better.
