I know that individual Dundee supporters cannot join the DSA unless they set up their own supporters club and pay their annual affiliation fee.
Nelms obviously wanted to keep the Open Letter Group in check by forcing them to raise everything through the DSA.
I was not aware that Nelms suggested that that DFCSS should affiliate to the DSA.
He obviously had not done his homework otherwise he would have discovered that the DSA was previously part of DFCSS until they decided nearly ten years ago to leave.
In my opinion there are not enough Dundee supporters to have two separate supporters groups.
There should be one group which would give them strength in depth especially in these uncertain times with Dens Park now ultimately owed by Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited.
