I knew we were poor on Saturday, didn’t realise we were that bad! Really is a case of take the point and move on, some of our recent second half performances are a cause for concern though.

There is no place in professional football for sentimentality; If a player isn't meeting the required standard/performance levels he/she should be replaced by someone who does meet those standards. We should be playing to win as a team not give yesterdays players a place just because they are yesterdays men.
Show loyalty to servants of the club by all means, but not on the pitch.

This random thought needs a specific example.

I would strongly suggest we are playing to win and it's shown as no team has won more so far this season in our league.

You stand still you lose in sport, you always look at developing and improving all the time what you have because if you don’t you get left behind and your opposition moves forward because they will be developing and improving as well.

Smiffy Pie, name names, who are/is this player that is a yesterday man. I think you are some kind of special fan to have this view, given the relationship between management, staff, players and fans, and also our current league position. I am also sure that everything is/will be done to replace any player who is deemed not good enough for the team. The bond between management, players and staff could very quickly turn sour if we start turning on the team after a poor final seventy minutes, at a notoriously tough place to go.

Second halves against FGR and Swindon weren't that good.

Thankfully when you've blown the opposition away in the first half and you are comfortably leading at the break you don't tend to have to be good in the second half.

That 45 mins against then unbeaten Swindon ended the game there and then.
