    Matchday thread: Shrews v Rams

‘It’s Derby tomorrow lad, all that hoofball and overhit crosses, you’d better get the coracle out

‘But we don’t play near the river any more!

    ‘We play close enough…

    Anyone?

Let’s hope we get something, otherwise we’re likely to be bottom half of the league with a quarter of the season gone...not good.
Personally, with our returning players, I think we’ll have enough...a 0-2 win, ending a busy sporting Saturday closer to establishing ourselves within the play off positions.

IMO none of the returning injured players will get a start and may also not make the bench but with 3 games a week over the next few weeks they will get a chance in the very near future. Any road up, dropping players who have just gone undefeated in 7 games in all competitions won't be a confidence booster for any dropped for this fixture.

Still, PW move in mysterious ways so anything could happen.

I'm going with PW picking... Wildsmith - Nyambe Nelson Cashin Forsyth - Smith Hourihane - Sibs Waggy Barks - Collo

I'd go Wildsmith - Nyambe Nelson Cashin Forsyth - Smith Fornah - Sibs Bird Barks - Waggy

I tend to agree with you on both counts, don't think he has the balls tp leave Hourihane out

I'd agree. but would keep Collins up front, Waggy is best playing behind the striker. Collins is a powerful presence up front and draws defenders away proving chances.

Take your point...and I’m not sure Hourihane is worth a start at the moment anyway, so I’d go with your side...but Sibs, Bird, Barks and Waggy may all, imo, be described as still ‘returning’ to match fitness.

Waggy back from a tight hammy rather than an injury. The others have all started at least one game since their returns...
