For me it is not about the formation of the defence. In fact whichever formation we have used on the whole it has never been a raving success as we have conceded too many silly goals. I believe the major change is that in the last 2 games we have a midfield that is competitive and can mount positive attacking moves. I imagine Thomas will be back in the side as soon as he is fit. Quite rightly too. He is a bit of insurance for the defence and whilst result suggest we haven't missed him, Lukcour is right in that we have conceded a number of soft goals and I think Thomas may help reduce this.
