Something is rotten at Rotherham United and has been ever since Icky and Smudge dropped a league to go S6.

Warney then had had enough then surprisingly all the "Warney players" walked as well.

Fact is. When Warney took over he was asked to create a club identity which he did.

Matt Taylor then came in and got sick of all the hang on I'm manager this is my gig I'm getting shut of everything Warney tenure had. Why did Wes go to Millwall? Why did those 2 go to Wednesday?

Whatever the reason the bottom line is this. Under Warney even away games we never rolled over and had our bellies tickled. You could always walk away and go yep we have it a go but it's just the lack of quality can't blame the effort.

That has been missing in spades since.

MT has tried to turn us into something we aren't in too small a space of time and he will hopefully sooner rather than later pay for it. I say sooner because the longer this goes on the harder it will be to get out of.

What worries me is the board..
We'll just give him to this, or we just give him to that and keep kicking the can down the road when it's glaringly obvious already.

MT just simply does not know what Rotherham United are.

MT just simply is not ready for the Championship and is at the wrong club for the philosophy he has

This team mirrors the manager, no desire, no passion and no personality.

Previously, I was happy to give Taylor the benefit of the doubt - he was new, had a good track record (albeit at a lower level) and talked a reasonable game. I now fear he is completely out of his depth here and although we have picked up 9 points this season, we have been generally lucky to do so.
I do not recognise or have any ‘connection’ with this team, if that makes sense, and having been a Miller for many years it pains me to say this. Grealish, Lee, Towner, Goodwin, Talbot, Swailes, Frecklington, Arnason amongst many others - players you could get behind who grafted for the club. I see nobody in the whole team, never mind the starting 11 who fills me with any of that. We went down a similar road with Alan Stubbs and that was halted relatively quickly, but the damage had been done and took a long time to rectify.
I think this will take even longer.
To be fair, that’s football today. It’s why I don’t get anywhere as upset when we lose as I used to. It bothers me nowadays about the same amount as it does the players.

Wouldn't a more prudent approach be to find a mix? What you save on the younger players, you can add to the budget for the more experienced.

Unfortunately MT has a lot of bridge rebuilding to do after today's shambles and people's patience is running out now.
Does he come on match threads when we win? No and whys that?

    Hes a wind up merchant.

Btw have you got an opinion about the game or just going to pick up on someone’s post?

I always like Smith when with us but I think we made that far too easy for him, I’d still have him back though, him and Hugill up front

Maybe we have nearly the squad to learn from sides like Millwall - no massive marquee players, battle hardened, well drilled, hard to beat and always able to hit on the break away from home and get something?
