Pocket, in all honesty, do you think the last two performances against two clubs who are below us, is 'staying up' material.
Last week I was all for supporting Taylor and giving him a chance but when I saw the 4-5-1 line up today, I instantly thought, he has no balls to take a game to anyone and the first half and most of the second half showed it.
That kind of performance today will not keep us up. We have failed miserably to beat the only two teams below us and I for one are quickly becoming a Taylor out fan.
Come Tuesday night against high flying Ipswich, if he persists with his bombastic attitude that he knows best and fields the same starting line up then get ready to be soundly beaten. However, IF the light bulb comes on in his head before Tuesday and he feels he has to change the formation then we may be in with a small chance of something.
All we as fans are asking to see is an attacking line up at home, yes I get the one up front away from home hoping to snatch a point but, have a bloody good go at home. IF we have a go from the off and we still get beat so what, he will have tried an attacking formation and that's all we are asking for. Carry on with the negative start and we will be adrift through the festive period. Have a word with him Pocket, you know it makes sense
NB. To answer your questions:
He’s not been here long so get rid and what then? He's been here over 1 year so he should know what works for him and clearly what doesn't.
I’m interested to see who the ones who demand he goes think we can get in. There's plenty of Managers out there, Rowett for one.
Warne got 3 relegations so what’s changed with our fan base? Warne played in your face, high tempo, upbeat football, this guy has ripped the book up on this approach and with the players he's brought in, he could have continued that no problem but he prefers hoofball to Hugill and it ain't working.
Why after keeping us up and we can still stay up he needs to go. Dont tell me it’s the performances because we’ve had far worse under previous managers. Warne left a decent legacy behind and it's clear Taylor has his own coaching ideas from League 1 but the Championship is a completely different animal and he isn't adapting accordingly to take it on.
