    Really.

I can't be arsed to do it but I could give at least three examples from just yesterday. Go on then, I'll give you one with milder language--

On whether we are doing well this season on account of kind fixtures etc--
Rosco " We're doing fine but you can't explain that to the idiots on account of their idiocy"

Acido ( TykesMad Moderator in reply) "There's none so blind as those that won't listen"

Barnsley on the other hand only brought in £8 million with the sale of two players.
But then again it’s a sum that many clubs would be thankful for.
Neerav has said that money will be used for running costs and new players.
The £8m was on the back of two defenders having very good league one season's and not anything to do with Val's time here .

Nobody wanted Morris , Helik , Brittain , Woodrow or even Styles following the Val season .

The Val season was pretty thin gruel for a club whose model is to buy cheap players , develop them and sell them on whilst reinvesting the profits back in to the squad hoping to become stronger as a consequence .

Very thin gruel given we were relegated the following season with huge financial consequences for the club .

Val football is a non starter if you want to see returns on players that can bring in revenue that can transform the club's present position , absolute non starter it is .

Stendel and Duff had it right for this league .

I can’t understand why you keep deleting Paul Conways history out of the club.
Finished 5th in the Championship under Ismael and then relegated the season after when Conway took control of the team.
If people didn’t know - after reading your posts they would think you were a big fan of his.

As said - most if not all of Ismaels team were sold.
They just weren't sold after the lock down.

If Chien Lee had stuck to his word - and the club had indeed been strengthened after the Championship semi final - and we had stayed in the Championship - which means Ismael still at the club and a few more players brought in - then most supporters would agree that by now there was a bigger chance of playing Premier football than there was playing 1st Division football.

Strengthening is not in the clubs DNA under this ownership, selling your assets is.

    Simple as that Im afraid.

As I recall history at that time--The CEO "left" suddenly, the HC and Club captain left for the riches of WBA, Schopp and then Asbaghi appointed to relegate us with a record low 6 wins. Investor Group bin Conway and switch sides to put Parekh in control.

I'm not a fan of Conway he's a despicable bloke , what I'm doing is to highlight what actually played out .

The reason Lee didn't stick to his word was probably because nobody bought our players as he probably expected .

You didn't think for one moment they were going to invest significant sums of their own money to strengthen the squad did you ?

I really don't know why you are trying to re-write history YN and claiming the players were Val's team , they played under Val I'll give you that but only Morris and on loan Dike could be seriously considered Val players .

    Collins - Stendel
    Helik- Struber
    Andersen - Stendel
    Solbauer - Struber
    Sibbick - Stendel
    J Williams - Stendel

    Brittain - Dane Murphy
    Styles - Stendel
    Mowatt - Hecky
    Woodrow Stendel
    Chaplin Stendel
    Kane - Dane Murphy
    Freiser - Struber
    Victor - Hecky

Nudger believes everything he either hears or reads that comes out of the club. Unfortunately he's deluded and believes that James Cryne is some kind of a football genius who not only scouts all our signings, but also recognises that they are suited to the so called barnsley way of playing.

I'd like to know how the diminutive Tom Bradshaw, Patrick Schmidt and Conor Chaplin fitted into the 'barnsley way' of playing. All under 6 foot and nowt to them in terms of physical presence. Yes, I can clearly see genius James's thinking there when he spotted those 3. I bet he thought "feck me those players look a handful. I bet they'll possess real ability to lead the line and bash the opposition defenders up"

I have to laugh at how Nudger rates our non league or unproven players as " good enough to play in the Championship " after seeing them laik 10 league 1 games, yet one of our current best players in Herbie Kane gets slated regularly. He was exactly the same with Woodrow wasn't he. Obviously he's a complete wind up merchant and out for a reaction at the end of the day

The reason I've attributed the signings of Brittain and Herbie Kane to Dane Murphy is because they were signed in the period between Struber leaving for New York Red Bulls and whilst we were searching for a new HC .

The window was actually shut when Val arrived , Dane Murphy also got Cauley Woodrow to sign a new contract during that period .

Val only had one January transfer window open to him whilst he was here .

    Yes he did!!!

He banged on and on for months about us buying Dike when it was clearly miles out of our price range. I found it comedy gold
