By the way if you watch the palestinian demo there are many peopke wearing poppies. How do you explain that? It just shows that the 2 causes çan be aired at the same time. There are none so blind as literally cannot see.

But you mentioned Far right and Football hooligans. As soon as they're mentioned the Police put on riot gear! The pro palistine should not have been allowed this weekend.

The pro palistine should have beeen stopped from defacing the monument and should never have been allowed to climb them to stick the palestinian flag up.

These things have prevoked the so called right wing and football hooligans who believe that they need to defend the monuments because the police have failed to do so.

Of course the defacing of the monument is wrong but there are going to be half a million people at the demo who have not done this and are focussed on stopping the barbaric stuff going off in the middle east which is a little bit more pressing atm

Also bear in mind british foreign policy in the past has contributed to what is going off out there. So i reckon we do need to try to help sort it

Do you honestly believe that the leadership in Israel are going to be swayed in any way by this march in London today? Or that it will have any impact on the UK government’s stance on it?

As they marched last week, the week before and as they'll do next week and the week after.

In my opinion it should have been allowed but it has and the political aims will be there for all to see in the UK but nothing will change in the middle east.

Yes that's true, but do we really have that number of Palestinians living in the UK?

Or do you just have to be a follower of Islam to wave a paper flag for this " cause"

More than if you do absolutely nowt about it. I suspect that there will and continue to be similar demonstrations round the world to back up what is happening here.

There is a lot of hypocrisy on here at times. Some say we need to respect the people who fought and died for our freedom of speech but then ignore the political movements that also give us our rights today. If nobody had ever protested about their conditions in the past we would still be slaves now. So its ok to go kick **** out of others to get our rights but not by using other more peaceful methods.
