Thread: Choose your next Manager

  1. #171
With the notorious Bonner interview in mind, let's hope the chosen candidate is interviewed very early in the morning.

    Gareth Ainsworth's
    Nigel Pearson's
    Gary Rowett's
    Danny Cowley's

although there are some exceptions that fit like

    Neil Warnock's
    Nigel Clough's
    Mick McCarthy's

but I'd rule out Steve Evans, Paul Warne, Chris Wilder because they are just too awkward to fit in
So I guess there's no need for Ange Postecoglou to apply then!

You've just triggered my memory.....Bonner allegedly accepted the job, drove back to Cambridge and changed his mind!

Would those then what doesn’t qualify for that particular rationale fit into the now popular and over used prefix…….ball…warney ball, evo ball, wild ball….load of balls..🤣

If you do what the Blades fans did and call him Chrissy Wilder, it fits ok!!

Oh come on CAM, even the most lyrically inept amongst our so-called singers could come up with...........
Chrissy Wilder's Red and White Army.
You heard it here first 🙂

In a few weeks you’ll be able to add Rooney to that list!
Not that I’d want him but he’s doing a great job in bringing Brum within our reach.

Surprised that John Terry isn’t on the list.
It was on Talk Sport a couple of weeks ago that he’s apparently gone for loads of interviews at all levels and been close to getting the managers job a few times.

How many managers will be thinking.

Keeping rufc up is 1 hardest jobs in management at the moment.

If it doesn't happen will I get the sack.

Plus I can probably earn more money somewhere else with a better chance off promotion.

Yes a few will think that

Others on that list will think ….I’ve been unemployed for a while now, it’s decent money compared to benefits and if I wait too long I’ll never get a job in footy again.

    No mention of Frank Lampard.
Frankie Lampard,s Rotherham United on BBC Sport every week. Good publicity even if we’d probably lose 0-5 at home as well

That's probably going to prove to be correct. I've said on here before, just over a year ago we were on an upward trajectory and arguably the most attractive proposition for a new manager that we've ever been. The best manager we could attract at that point, with all due respect to him, was Matt Taylor. We're probably all living on another planet discussing some of the names we are doing considering the position we're in at the minute.
