I think it's because under Warne TS invested in a squad he hoped would be able to stay in this division.
Under Taylor he feels he has invested in a squad that should stay in this division.

As with many fans, we entered the season on the side of expectation, rather than hope. That is the key. It feels different.

Injuries have been so frustrating and unjust, but the squad still competes at home, even with the aforementioned. So Taylor has that reason to a degree, but how does he answer why a depleted squad can play at home but not away? You can't say injuries have crippled us but then be largely competitive when at home but polar when away. There is a mismatch there that isn't down to injuries. The injuries have meant we have one hand behind our back, the away form is killing us though.
