    Beating Leeds 1-0 at Millmoor for our first win of the season.

    Two 4-2 losses at Millmoor. Man City in the FA Cup and Barnsley in the old 2nd Division under Emlyn.

    I can't quite believe it CAM, they are my top 2!!!

    The City game in particular, if I remember correctly we we were 3-0 down, pulled it back to 3-2 , had a few goals disallowed and then Peter Barnes broke away in the last minute and scored for City


    The Barnsley game was superb. Stewart Barrowclough was the only winger I have ever seen get the better of Gerry Forest.

    100 percent agree with you. The atmosphere was electric.

    1978, Lge Cup 2nd rnd. Millmoor. Rotherham 3-1 Ars enal 1. Millmoor again, Rotherham 0-0 Leeds FA Cup 3rd Rnd.Both Ars enal & Leeds full of Internationals.

    Ronnie Glavin Barnsley best player on the field, I hated him but wished he played for us.

    Yea I think this was as good as any..what a side this was and they proved it by winning the league..was this game the highest ever attendance at millmoor? or was that a different Sheffield united game ?
