I was listening to that army, there was a lot of waffle about the 10 points, which won't see Everton relegated, but they just brushed off the compo claims which will be far more damaging to Everton than the points deduction, if awarded. One KC has already stated we have grounds for a claim and we have another, an expert in sports law, acting on our behalf. Good luck to Everton, they might need it.

I assume the basis of the claim is that Everton committed an offence which has seen them penalised ten points, but as the penalty wasn't applied that season we went down instead of them. In which case it's simply a matter of how much, except as Swiss says, no way is it going to be that simple.

Got to be honest army88 if we were not going back into the Championship I would bin the season tickets. I'm not overly good at watching us constantly being on the wrong end of VAR decisions and getting leathered every week.

It was David Phillips KC who pronounced that we would have the right to claim compo should Everton be found guilty. The same David Phillips KC who will be in charge of the Independent Commision deciding on the Compo claims. I suspect Simon Jordan, not for the first time, is talking out of his backside.
