Hi Frog. Thanks. Very happy with Farke. Evans wasn’t liked by many at Leeds but he can get players playing. I have seen a couple of YouTube videos that the likes of Nardiello who played for him say they would still play for him again - even though he was a ranting lunatic at times. from what I can see, even the old players you have brought in are acting like lazy disinterested cogs in a team that has to (because of financial constraints) play with lions hearts. They have to put in 100% every minute and I watched your midfield against Wednesday simply not turn up. To the point I actually thought something bad had gone on. Evans would not stand for anything other than commitment and effort so given your squad I would say he’s the man.
When you compare the top teams in the Championship v lower half teams, financially it’s a joke. It was the same for Leeds in the premiership which has become so uncompetitive except say for the top 6-8 clubs.
Hope it’s a great game, we win and you win enough of your remaining games to stay up. But then you find a way through more investment to grow.

A good column from David Rawson in the Advertiser that asks the question about Evans "Would Steve Evans really galvanise this group of players? And would any other Championship club looking for a manager seriously consider him? If not, what does it say about us that he’s one of the bookies’ favourites?".
I personally don't think any other Championship club would touch him.

Just read it. It’s almost saying there is no hope for your club. Your chairman last time around wanted young then this time he wants experienced? Maybe there are better paid manager jobs in L1 and certainly in the Championship. Not a guarantee whoever you get but size of the wallet has a huge influence. Eddie Howe a young experienced manager struggles if he doesn’t have the budget (Bournemouth) but appears successful at least for now at Newcastle.
Given all of that I think Evans is the right fit and the Mourinho sprints down the touch line are worth the admission price alone
The rules on loans have changed since he was with us and that's probably why he's done nowt until now at a lower lewel.
We will have money to spend in January but it'll be at a cost. Any manager wanting money will have to sell Victor, Bramhall or Rathbone. I don't envy them
They're always good games and a laugh! I have my wine, beer and a pillow it watch it with
I’m not sure what the relevance is of asking …are there any other cship clubs that would want Evans.
We’re unique in stature, budget and resources when we’re in the cship and we need who is best for us.
Tony has dropped a ballok getting rid of Matt. Topsey Turvey from now on.

Nailed on.
