it is all over the online news thread that Jones pulled out, good riddance, he clearly is not the man for the job, it is a very hard job and clearly he doesn't think it is a job he can do, he is scared of another failure. Who wants a coward as a manager, a man that is arrogant enough to think he is better than us or the job is beyond his capabilities, sounds like a loser to me.
Who the secound choice already lined up.
Surely appointed before the game Saturday
Sorry guys for getting your hopes up. My source has got it wrong.
Don’t worry the wife took out extra insurance before I had my op so she’ll be quids in 🥴
I read a week or so ago that he was being considered for the Swansea job.
They are stuttering badly and May make a change soon. Although he’s a Cardiff fan he’s made of stern stuff having deserted Luton and gone back there.
It may be as simple as another club, perhaps not Swansea, saying sit tight and we,ll come and get you after all the publicity he’s had and being spotted at St Andrews
I would imagine that’s what’s happened with Wilder. Linked with our job and someone at SUFC advises him their job is his if he wants it
It's been a really strange interim period. When Warne left we were 8th in the League in September and we got turned down by Mark Bonner at Cambridge and ended up with MT from Exeter, who was fully aware he was second choice.Roll forward a year and we are deep in the relegation zone and can't buy a win away from home but the fact that the likes of Wilder and Jones are/where even 'thinking about it'' seems odd. After all the dead ends and turn downs in this process,to appoint Richardson would feel empty and without any conviction. After our first proper away performance at Birmingham I would now be more inclined to let WC take charge of the home games against Swansea and West Brom because 4 points and 2 good performances may make the solution to this problem a little easier to find.
