Nigel Pearson has developed some health issues and was walking with the aid of crutches whilst still at Bristol
Hopefully his health has improved regardless of whether the rumour is true or not
The rumour was instigated by someone connected with Leicester City so it might have some legs. On other hand it looks like a very dodgy twitX site

He might have been lined up but he wasn't signed up. Big difference.

Cayton not true Nigel Pearson is undergoing medical treatment, hence why he left Bristol City

I'm not sure EFL rules would allow a team to sign on another manager whilst one is still employed so there's always going to be a chance of a 'change of mind'. To me it speaks more to the character of the 'mind changer' to go through the process, wait until someone gets the sack and then say "No thanks!".

After a fretful day on here and on twitter yday about the manager situation, i do think it is worth giving Carlisle a go at least till the end of the season. He showed last week that he was willing to change the MT team and also is getting better stuff out of Nombe. Also.not frightened to drop players like Morrison and Hugill. We are likely to go down now anyway but he might have us better prepared to get straight back if we did . Might also mean we have a bigger budget in January if not shelling out for a new manager. Go for it TS nowt to lose. If things go tits up look to get someone else later in the season. When we get thrashed on sat i will then eat my words!😆

It’s an option Roles but I was really concerned about the Hull defeat. The other two games he’s done well.
At Hull he went two up top away from home vs an expansive passing team with some real quality. Footballing suicide and that’s only going to end one way
Completely changed the defence from the previous game where they performed well and included Dexter who’s been a car crash of late. Some, but not all, of those defensive changes might have been necessary as our players are not very resilient as we know .

But nevertheless Some serious errors of judgment there which is a worry to say the least

TS should get in touch with Michael Duff.A well thought of manager, who did an excellent job at Barnsley and would be the ideal choice for us.Let's get on fast track to get this done.
