I will never forget the lies JN stated in the letter dated 7th December 2022 about the visit by my wife and myself had to the Club’s offices at the Gardyne Campus until the day I die.
This would never have happened if the club still used their offices at Dens Park as you spoke to the receptionist at the Main Entrance and if you had something such as a framed strip to collect a member of staff brought it out to you. There was no need to go through the ‘hallowed’ glass door which has a security code to the enter the Club’s offices.
Come on now Islay, somebody giving the impression of something is miles away from a stated - it was an opinion, no more and no less, it even says in the minutes 'ME expressed his opinion', but you stated it was an absolute fact. You were wrong.
Why would I know who someone is just because their picture was on the Dundee FC website over a month ago? My wife watches that jungle programme and I see the 'celebrities' faces on TV every night - doesn't mean I know who they all are.
Maybe John Nelms trusted his reception staff to have already dealt with you and assumed you were OK? Did you say 'excuse me John' or try to attract his attention in some other way? I doubt it.
If CCTV had shown you and your wife walking into reception and being ignored b JN that would have proved what exactly?
I enclose details of an article headed ‘Thanks to the DSA’ from the Dundee Football Club website dated 9th October 2023 which shows the whole of DSA Committee photographed with John Nelms, Greg Fenton and Gordon Strachan. https://dundeefc.co.uk/news/dsa-thanks/
You will read in the article that Matt Edwards is Treasurer of the DSA.
The article further added that after the meeting DSA Chairman Davie Craig and Matt Edwards DSA Treasurer spoke to the Club’s media team.
The meeting was to thank the DSA for their donations to Dundee Football Club but disappointingly the Dee4life board of directors have not received the same invite to the Club’s offices at Gardyne to thank them for their donations this season to the end of September 2023 totalling £3,280 for two advertising hoardings and the match ball sponsorship for the Kilmarnock match.
Dee4life have subsequently handed over £801 for the cost of seat covers for the South Enclosure which have been used to protect the goalmouths on the Dens Park pitch.

At least three of the people in that photograph are members of Dee4Life and are named as attendees at the November 2023 AGM - this gives an absolute lie to your assertion that no Dee4Life members are welcome at Gardyne so thanks for the confirmation.
Now all you have to do is admit you told another lie regarding John Nelms saying he hates Dee4Life, I've already posted evidence to prove that lie, and we're all happy.
You will read in my post number 84 that ME is not a ‘run of the mill’ Dundee FC supporter.
We have already discussed John Nelms walking past us without asking if we had been attended to which we already had.
There is no point trying to have a meaningful conversation with you as you will not accept what I post on this board.
Interestingly if you had not resigned as the Dee4life primary representative on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors on 1st April 2017 Dee4life would still have their primary representative on the DFC board of directors.
However I would not have put my name forward to become a Dee4life official volunteer in December 2017 if you had still been a Dee4life Director.
If you had attended the Dee4life AGM Q and A section you would have heard that Dee4life are not welcome in Gardyne.
From memory it was also stated that any future communication from the Dee4life board of directors to John Nelms would have to made via the Dundee Football Club SLO.
I accept that John Nelms did not state that he hates Dee4life because he (John Nelms) did not send an official letter to the Dee4life board of directors stating his concerns about the threat of legal action by the Dee4life board of directors and their meetings with the local MSPs to try to resolve the failure of Dee4life to get their primary representative elected on the Dundee Football Club Limited board of directors and that he (JN) hates Dee4life.
It was the opinion of ME that John Nelms was livid about the threat of legal action and Joh Nelms hates Dee4life.
What are the Dee4life board of directors supposed to do if John Nelms will not have meaningful meetings with them.
The simple solution would be for John Nelms to invite the Dee4life board of directors to a ‘clear the air’ meeting in the Club’s offices at Gardyne where all their differences could be discussed and resolved.
The minutes also stated that the DSA ask questions about ticketing and maintenance while Dee4life ask questions about finance and the stadium.

Why should Deeranged accept what you post as a lot of it is clearly wrong. You clearly stated that John Nelms hated Dee 4life and he said dee4life members were not welcome at Gardyne. Deeranged has provided FACTS that this was not the case... but you deflect and ramble on in your replies and you clearly do not address what Deeranged says in responses to your posts.
Just admit it Douglas you were wrong, you know it, i know it, posters on this board know it. Or carry on deflecting and rambling and make yourself look even more obstinate if thats possible.
But I didn't attend the AGM and only have the minutes, the formal and historic record of the meeting, as a reference point. If the minutes recorded that John Nelms has stated categorically and on the record that he hates Dee4Life I'd have agreed with you from the start - but they don't say that.
I'm glad you've finally admitted to having lied about John Nelms stating that he hated Dee4Life but that it was in fact only the opinion of one individual that he hated Dee4Life, it wasn't painful was it? And I got your admission into one sentence rather than the rambling paragraph you strung it out to - so much simpler.
If I was John Nelms I'd also be reluctant to deal with an organisation that has, either clearly or by implication, made threats of legal action against me. Maybe the Dee4Life board should swallow their pride and go through the channels suggested to lead the drive toward an amicable solution to the stand off and to a future collaborative relationship? Just a suggestion.
Why would anyone wait for someone they've threatened with legal action to make the first move to reconcile? Maybe a written, public apology would be a start?
