Pie in the sky if folk think we are going to be getting a manager with any great pedigree. Just not going to happen

We are a deemed a nothing club in a nothing league.

Any managers linking themselves with our position when it arises are just using it for leverage at rolls elsewhere.

Our best chance of a successful manager would be a young manager with the balls to do the job and be able to walk the walk as well as just talk the talk.

Every club outwith the cheeks are living in the hope of the next appointment being the messiah we all want and need.

Outside of Scotland we are not seen as a big job to managers. I’m sure there are English managers in league 1 and league 2 who would see it as a step up but these top quality proper managers people are wanting us to go for will have zero interest in coming here.

Even guys like Mowbray who have been mentioned who aren’t top managers would be able to get another job down south so wouldn’t bother coming up here.

Realistically you would be looking at someone in Scotland who is out of work and is never going to get a bigger job than us these days or someone who is in work and sees it as a step up.
