I don’t know what player fans are watching and the hype he has had over the past few months

Sorry but my take on the player is that he has been well covered by deep lying midfielders. The ball is like a hot potato at his feet and he always passes sideways to Schar or Tripps. On a one one one he backs off all the time yes it was Tripps fault for losing possession but Lascelles effort as stopping the player was pitiful

In my eyes he is a terrible defender can’t wait for Botman to get fit and get him back on the bench.

He’s done better than I expected but I do agree. He’s not good enough.
