I must be honest mon ami, over quite a few years of this Punch and Judy you have not shifted my opinion on anything political by as much as one inch, and I'm quite sure the opposite is true, we're both exactly where we were when all this started.

What are terms of the ceasefire ?

I can honestly say I have had more laughs from the forum in less than 12 months than in 12 yrs in MN. Very nice people here but East Lancs humour would be a bit of a mystery.

On Wednesday afternoon we had a stroll around the National Trust property at Gawthorpe, I thought I saw several members of the Clarets squad exercising their dogs but the wife said that would be impossible because they can’t hold on to a lead.

Is it a good omen, Bastids losing at home 0-2 to Leeds?

No, it just means Leeds will replace us in the EPL next season.

I believe we have dropped 16 points from winning positions BT the most of any team in the EPL along with Spurs. Another lead surrendered at Brighton yesterday but Trafford was superb as we held on for a very valuable point. Odobert took his chance in the absence of Koleosho and if we can only get Foster/Obafemi back in the line up things are looking less bleak. The Everton game is now huge. Three points for us will be a massive boost.

Obafemi out injured again, I did say on another thread that he needs wrapping in cotton wool. He may well be a decent player but he's so fragile we're never going to be able to rely on him. Jay way past his best, Obafemi injury prone, Foster ongoing mental health problems and no indication that we intend to address the striker problem in January. Vinni has admitted that we can't afford players who will make a difference at this level.

With all the other teams at bottom, Forest apart, now getting results, it's hard to be confident we'll survive this season.

Jay getting stick off lots of fans because he is past it etc., however, he has played over 240 minutes during this last week, plus added time and that is around the same as Amdouni. Yes, he is well past his best, however, he is more than willing to try to do the job whereas, for various reasons, others have fallen by the wayside.
