My view is that this team and Head Coach have plenty of credit left in the bank after what they've achieved in that time, but after riding the wave/euphoria of promotion for the first few months, we're probably at the start of the process where that team and playing style will evolve into what we need next, and sometimes that means taking a step backwards before you can move forwards again. There's certainly no need for panic or excessive disgruntlement amongst the support. By any reasonable measure we're still doing fine.
We are not enjoying it at all. It maybe that some of us can see the problems we are having, and seeing nothing being done about it.. LW makes his customary 3 substitutions most games, normally around the same time. These achieve absolutely nothing other than unsettle the team. You can argue that he hasn't learnt from the fiasco that left Scott injured for the season and left Brindley on at Wimbledon when he went down injured in the box, and held his hand up to come off. That was ignored, and Brindley missed the next few games.

He rabbits on about protecting players, Its a pity he doesn't practice what he preaches...

But you have absolutely no proof around the Scott situation and if brindley was injured it was his responsibility to stay down.

We're you at the game where LW put his last 3 subs on in the 65th min. Not long after that Scott went down clutching his knee.He had to play on because we would have been down to 10 men. After hobbling about he went down again in agony.. leaving him only made the injury more serious.
Has for Brinds he went down after around 10min. He was in some discomfort and he held his hand up for assistance, which never arrived. He went off hobbling a few minutes later...Missed the next few games through incompetence..

I just don't see it as enjoying an opportunity to complain. I've always seen it as a different way of expressing disappointment and frustration.

I think they hurt as much as any of us after games like yesterday.

Firstly yes I was there, secondly in my opinion the medic hasn’t realised the severity of Scott’s injury, if he does he comes off regardless of no subs.
The ref has to wave the medic on for Brindley not LW, that’s up to Brindley.

He could have subbed him, but he didn't..Has for Scott, then I suggest we get a new medic.. You don't take chances with knee ligaments..

That’s a bit harsh on Brindley.

How on earth does LW know Brindleys badly injured? Brindley seems an intelligent guy but obviously doesn’t realise how bad his injury is.
Yes the medics got it wrong but it happens every week, you see a player go down and then they play on then come off.

Just going by what they said, if they expect Notts to run at a profit next season then there's no way they lay out x millions on 8 new players which we need. Palmer, Jones, Bostock, Macca, Scott and maybe Baldwin are the only players who would hold their own so maybe 10 players plus a couple on loan. That amount of investment wouldn't happen and I'm talking to be competitive in the league, not be battling relegation all season. I'd love it to happen but that's not how they're running the club.
