    ⚽Match thread v Stockport County FC 22.12.23 [EFL L2]

Probably the best team we can put out with what we've got:

ps - Swale, please can you format the thread title to the usual.

A stronger team and squad - Cameron and McGoldrick in for Morais and Mahovo

Love that LW is going with his strongest line-up...

I believe this is 71 league games since LW took over - ALL with a back 3. Good for LW that he's sticking to his guns.

Will be interested to see if it's Bostock and Austin or Bostock and Crowley in the midfield.

We seem much better tonight so far, despite the scoreline.

Yes, it'd be a surprising if it was Crowley though. LW's gone with Sam so many times now, despite all the evidence it hasn't worked.

Whenever I've seen Stockport (i.e L2 play-offs last season) what strikes you most is what a physically imposing side they are. I'm hoping for a strong ref tonight - so Crowley, Austin, Nemane, Jones and Maca (nothing like the brick ****houses they have) can play their games.

Just had a read on the Stockport forum, they're very confident.
