    Yes it is, but the desire to go with such a small squad and retain most of the non league squad has proven to have failed.
    In American football, the phrase is ‘next man up’ where a team suffers a significant injury, the guy behind him in that position needs to be good enough and motivated enough to step into that role and make it his own.

    Randall, Morias, Gosling, Tobi A, Tipton…

    Then add in JoB, Rawlinson, the discussion over stone etc…
    And it’s clear we don’t have quality in depth, or depth in size either.

    That’s a failure of recruitment and having such a small squad.
