A much better role than hopping left and right waving for a ball that never comes.

    Interesting thanks for that

But more than that, we played in a kind of 3-1-5-1 with Crowley-Langstaff-Austin all playing between JB and DM

Maca was much more involved but I don't think you could call it a success. Didzy was poor until the final few minutes and his goal. And we put so many great balls into the box from wide positions but it was Stockport defenders who got there first almost every time.

Yep, they were 18th before and after they played us just 5 weeks ago. With the game in hand they could now just be a single point behind us.

On an 8 game current form table we're 2nd bottom. Only FGR are worse on goal difference.

I understand the need to focus on the positives, particularly the manager and within the camp, but as a mere onlooker we were behind from the 7th minute and chasing the game, the onus was on us to attack and look for the forward pass, which we did, but that's absolute basics. Notts most likely need LW to stick around if we're going to follow through with the upwards trajectory in the foreseeable, but last night's interview left me feeling a bit concerned that he's either losing the plot and struggling to cope with the pressure he puts himself under or he is now in a position where he's having to think about making a very big decision.
If offered the Swansea job he'd be insane not to take it. Sheehan however is the 4/6 favourite again after they won last night, LW drops to 2/1.

I went last night in the hope that we’d take the game to Stockport and get back to the way we can play.
We did that to the point where I left feeling we’re not going to drop into mid table mediocrity.
There’s no getting away from two very poor goals, but outside of that we were outstanding. Baldwin was the best player on the pitch and Cameron also had a very good game.
Didsy playing up top with Langstaff playing deeper gave us more energy and I’d like to see that again.

It did sound like we were the better team, even Stockport fans said that. We were getting predictable with Langstaff up front, all teams needed to do was stop his supply and catch us on the break. We need to swap it around and keep teams wondering, even during the game.

    Onwards and hopefully upwards
