    Get your flag up.

The rule that the lino doesn’t put his flag up for offside until the attacker touches the ball makes no sense.

Viktor could have been seriously hurt needlessly because of this. Flag goes up straight away and no challenge is made. This could lead to us losing £5 million in potential transfer fees and or being without our best player for a while for no reason other than a stupid rule.

John stones went off injured last night because of it as well.

I can see the sense of it when you have var as you can allow play to go on and then review it if the attacking team scores when it was offside. However, can't understand why they do it in our league when there is no var to check if the offside call was right or wrong. Therefore, as you say, it puts Victor and others in pointless danger as the lino will flag anyway regardless of the outcome. What am I missing?!

Absolutely nothing. It's barmy but it will take a serious injury before the PMGOL decide to change it.

The officiating isn’t getting any better is it?
We have all the technology and experience from previous seasons and it’s just problem after problem.

Sean Dyche and Pep Guardiola have both had a rant about last nights games. City won easily so for Pep to moan as well speaks volumes.
Their main gripe is that rules are unclear and open to interpretation

They have tinkered with the handball rule so much that no one has any idea what it is anymore.

Unless I missed it there was no offside given when Victor got injured trying to stop Bora player clean through?

    Agree with you completely.

The players defending have no choice but to commit to the tackle, block, run... Whatever it may be. "Play to the whistle" is exactly what good players should do and we've all seen incompetent offside goals given, even very blatantly offside ones.

We lost cam through a part of play which was awaiting the flag.

Agree with all. Stupid rule and needs changing.
Attacking player/keeper players to the whistle. It's wasn't even a close call

100% did. Lino put his flag up for offside as soon as the striker tried to play the ball.
