    Absolutely never ever!

    Rotherham born and bred. Born a stones throw away to the NYS just off Tenter Street on Hartley Lane.

    When someone questions me about my broad Yorkshire accent and where I’m from, I ask em if they’ve heard of Sheffield? Invariably they pipe up they know Sheffield. I then tell them that’s a small town that once spawned from my home town Rotherham about 9 miles away!

    Really makes no different here in the US. You can even tell some people you come from England and their reply would be "Is that a country?".

    Massive Brit population here and most are well aware of the Rotherham "thing". To be honest it seems to linger on and why not, it should never be forgotten. It was horrendous. Will always be home to me though, especially Wicko, I love it there.
