Not much let up from Leicester, proper team, class players. 3 weeks ago I envisaged us catching Ipswich, now we’ll be lucky to make the play offs, shot to bits.

Gnonto has “previous” with referees, but it would be nigh on impossible for him to twist and fall like that without being tugged.

Scott’s on the PL roster, so presumably he didn’t give it because he was ducking responsibility waiting for the VAR word in his ear. Grrrr.

    Very Leeds that.
Automatic promotion was always a delusion. We have neither the squad nor the tactics (via Hr Farke), to survive long enough in the top 2 to have any prospect. Playoffs may have been possible, but again, not with this squad as Farke is playing them. As others have said previously, square pegs in round holes seems to be a catching disease, and Farke isn't immune, although to an extent his had is forced by the clubs inability to recruit into positions that have been empty for far too long. That, coupled with the pedestrian antics (you can't call them tactics) employed for much of the match during which we "enjoy" majority possession that see us pass back as much as we pass forward, will prevent us from doing what the players are clearly capable of, beating the best! The odd (very odd) flash in the pan like the Ipswich match where we actually play good football, will serve to show that we have the players, we just don't play as we should, and that lies at the door of one man, Farke. He fails to capitalise on good results by incorporating what works into the next game(s), he has the most bizarre view of what a discretionary substitution is supposed to achieve (as opposed to one forced by virtue of injury or, as in the Preston match a moment of temporary insanity by the 1st team gk). He has failed (as have others) to make real headway in exploiting our younger players (Archie Gray is one, there are many others). He talks much better than he manages/coaches, we need someone who talks less, and does better.
