Agreed, but I don't think it's just about the defenders. When we're completely controlling games like we did against Morecambe we're okay, but if the opposition get any type of foothold we become extremely vulnerable.

I think what we lack as much as anything is a couple of really ferocious tacklers i.e. ball-winners, which even the best passing sides have as a cornerstone of their success. Our tackling out of possession is pretty weak if truth be told.

Basically, we've got the 'nice' side of the game right and can look a fantastic team, but we need to bring a 'nasty' element in who can help to defend and impose our will, especially away from home where you can't always dominate completely.

It's the old adage: you have to earn the right to play.

Another good post Jackal, there's nothing stopping them before it gets to the defence as well as the defence being poor sometimes. It's so frustrating, the attackers work so hard and do their part and look what happens. That third Tranmere goal was a really deflating one.
