Why are our second halfs always so poor? Multiple times this season we've just not shown up in the second half and it's happened far too often to just be a coincidence.

Because we don't have the squad depth to rotate or bring on similar quality at the 60 minute mark. Our subs always weaken the side

With Swansea beating WBA today, this result hopefully reduces the likelihood of LW going anywhere for the time being. Ramsay still favourite there last time I looked.

Notts have been utter garbage second half. Terrible midfield, no shots, appalling defending, no quality on bench. We need to get into the transfer market , another 4 conceded !! Embarrassing

Stone worst gk I’ve seen at notts in my lifetime, if we’re serious about promotion that will be his last game in a notts shirt should have saved the first 3 and gave a pen for the 4th

We've just not come out for this half, it's been all Tranmere.

Confidence is key to the way we play.

When we concede a couple of goals, individual players naturally become more hesitant and our patterns of play start to break down quickly. That's why we go from looking a very good side to looking like a poor side (which we're not) in the blink of an eye. It's partly because we try to play in such a pure way. More basic teams in a pressure situation would bang a couple of balls/set pieces into the box and maybe nick a goal and a result even when they haven't played fluently.

Obviously we don't want to stop playing our attractive football that has doubled the size of crowds at Meadow Lane, but this just illustrates why we need harder edge to our squad, bringing in some nasty, aggressive types who can be our enforcers on the pitch.

Currently, if we're not dominating, we're a soft touch, and there's nothing in-between.
