Let's ban poodles because someone got bitten by one ten years ago. It's not the breed, or the individual dog, it's the owner.

Banning an entire dog breed because of a small minority of irresponsible dog owners is knee jerk, snowflake nonsense and is equivalent to a racist saying all black people are criminals because there's a rumour that one robbed their neighbour's house. I reckon it's one of the few things that the Scottish Government has got right.

    It’s an animal.

You get irresponsible owners but they are still animals and will attack for no obvious reason.

Certainly can attack for no obvious reason, but not will attack for no obvious reason. Properly managed the risk of a dog, any dog, ever attacking anything can be reduced to almost zero.

I know almost zero still leaves potential but there's risk in everything we do, more chance of being hit by a bus (not a 1B during Covid) whilst crossing the road than being mauled by a dog.
