    Agreed.

I love how people believe the press We've fallen into that trap once before the other month

I've just posted this on another forum:

Our defence gets a bit of a rough deal because although there have been some shocking individual errors, they are told to play a high risk game. We pass around in our own area and sometimes it goes wrong. When it goes right however, we play through the press and score at the other end. Luke Williams has been in charge for 72 league games. In those 72 games we've scored 172 goals and conceded 89, while amassing 149 points. They are sensational stats and the entertainment has been fantastic.

It was an alien approach to me as a fan of 53 years, but I soon grew to love it.

I’m afraid the trust had gone. Any time any vacancy came up at a higher club LW would be connected to it and the fans would be split again. That’s no way to carry on.
Having said that, if he could convince us that there never was any truth in the rumours about Swansea AND Oxford then we could carry on. It would take some smooth talking though.
    Let’s face it, he’s going.

And we should be thankful (I believe most on here are) for what he has done for Notts. Good luck to him, I certainly wish him every success with his new club. It will be interesting to see if a list of candidates to replace Luke is made known or if the new man will just be announced by the Bros. Wonder if they may go back to Williamson, good manager but currently at NL level!

He's not, he's at MK Dons. The Altrincham manager we approached who rebuffed us is still in post though.

Yep, the same as happened with Burchnall.

You’re not trying to establish anything, you’re arguing with people that are suggesting he didn’t have an interview and said he was talking bull5h1t.
